Six prongs, a pavé basket, three rows down the shank
Diamonds are set into the prongs and around the basket beneath the center stone, so the parts of the ring only the wearer sees are finished to the same standard as the face. Three rows of micropavé carry the length of the shank.
Setting pavé into a prong is difficult and slow: each bead has to hold without weakening the metal that holds the center stone. It is the clearest single indicator of bench quality on a solitaire.
Six prongs hold a round brilliant more securely than four and read as a softer outline on the finger. The trade is a fractionally smaller apparent spread.
Photographed three ways on purpose. From the face this is an ordinary solitaire; the money is visible only in profile, which is where the first frame is taken. In the three-quarter frame the pavé basket reads as a hidden halo — that is the same construction seen from above, not a second row of stones.
Paperwork and a partial inner-shank engraving in the original frames were cropped and blurred out. Nothing on this page is read off a document we cannot hand you.

Why there are no numbers on this page
There is a partial engraving on the inner shank of this ring. It is not a grading report, it is unverified, and publishing it would imply a carat weight we have not confirmed — so it is blurred out of the photographs and stated nowhere.
Was this listed three times?
Briefly, yes. Three frames of this ring were cataloged as three separate solitaires before they were compared side by side. They are one ring, and they are now the three angles in the gallery above. We would rather tell you that than quietly delete two pages.
Living with pavé
Bead-set pavé needs a prong check every year or two, which is included for the life of the piece. It is not fragile, but it is not indifferent to being knocked either — we will say so plainly.
