Why the lettering on this one is soft

This pendant belongs to someone. The word and the number on it identify them, so both are blurred in every image we publish, and the film we made of the letters catching light has been withheld for the same reason. Nothing about the diamond work, the drawing or the proportions has been altered. If you commission the same piece we will photograph yours properly — and we will not publish it either, unless you tell us we may.

A name in pavé, a number in baguettes

A diamond infinity pendant built around one client’s word and one client’s number — the letters set in pavé, the digits in baguettes, the loop itself pavé the whole way round. The word and the number themselves are blurred here — they belong to the client, not to us.

Personalization is the commission clients ask for most and see least often done properly. The difficulty is not the diamonds, it is the drawing: a letter has to be wide enough to hold stones, narrow enough to stay legible, and strong enough not to bend when the pendant is worn every day.

Here the word is set in round pavé and the number in baguettes, and that contrast is doing real work — two different cuts keep the letters and the digits from reading as one continuous glitter.

The same approach builds initials, a child’s name, a wedding date, a jersey number, or a word that means something only to two people. It is quoted from the drawing, like any commission.
