The Collection / Engagement Rings / Oval Solitaire, White Gold
In motion
Five seconds of daylight, on a moving hand
Our own footage, shot on the street in daylight and muted. No audio track, no speed change. Color balanced to the same standard as our stills so the piece reads the same here as it does on its own page.
Current inventory
An oval solitaire, on a New York sidewalk
Filmed rather than photographed: an oval brilliant in a plain white setting, moving in open daylight on the street. No lightbox, no turntable, no showroom.
Every jeweler’s photograph is taken under lighting designed to flatter a diamond. This is the opposite exercise. The hand is walking, the light is whatever the afternoon was doing, and the stone has to hold up on its own.
An oval is a good stone to do this with. It is long enough to catch light along its length as the hand moves, which is exactly the behavior that a still photograph cannot show you.
The setting is deliberately plain — no halo, no shoulder pavé. Everything you see moving is the center stone.

Why there are no numbers on this page
You are watching a five-second film, and a film is an even worse basis for estimating a carat weight than a photograph is. The documented figures come to you in writing on inquiry.
About the film
Five seconds of our own footage, muted, with the audio track removed and the top of the frame cropped for composition. The skin is color-balanced to the same target used across every photograph on this site; the ring itself is untouched and is not scaled relative to the hand.
Seeing it in person
This is the piece clients most often ask to see before deciding, and it is the easiest to arrange — NY Metro in person, or on a video call anywhere, moving in daylight exactly as it is here.
